In 1991 the Hahn Estates brand was created to showcase the family’s Monterey County vineyards more appealing priced wines. Located in the Santa Lucia Highlands overlooking the Salina Valley, the Smith Ranch offers ideal growing conditions for premium wine fruit. Although Smith and Hook is still the first wine produced by the Hahn family, Hahn Estates is the primary wine brand produced.
